Full course description
Course meets Thursday evenings beginning October 29 and ending December 17 (8 weeks total).
Meeting times are Wednesdays, 5:30 p.m.-9:30 p.m.
Introduces philosophical issues and concepts of political thought from antiquity to the present day through examination, from different perspectives, of democracy, sovereignty and authority, justice, liberty, and the relationship between the individual and the state
After completing the registration process on this site, you will also need to submit a Non-Degree-Seeking Application. This additional step allows us to create your student ID and provide you with access to campus resources.
When completing the application:
1. Select “Audit for Enrichment.”
2. When prompted with additional questions, select “Undergraduate Course.”
3. Enter “October 2026” as your start date.
